STIR, a multi cuisine restaurant and bar, was to replace a rather old fashioned serving Indian cuisine. The brief was to design a space to target youngsters frequenting the hotel. The aim was to create elements that would create a feeling of movement and flow to go with the name STIR. The use of self embossed design panel behind the sofas and a bold, dramatic panel behind the bar gives the impression of flowers floating in air.

The restaurant has an open kitchen and a bar counter at either ends with large windows in the middle opening up to a landscaped outdoor seating area. An attractive colour scheme and innovative use of lighting creates the desired feel.
